District Education Officer Arvinder Singh said the state government’s Gyan Mission does not cover Punjabi literature which has been compensated by this app. Learn Punjabi app has been prepared by Paramjit Singhadditional District Informatics Officer, National Informatics Center and his team. Through this app one can learn Punjabi from Primary to Higher Secondary in Hindi, English, Gujarati and Urdu.
Dr Preneet Jaggi anchored the program and said that the iPhone operating system (iOS) version of the app would soon be launched and a playful method of learning the language would be developed with the help of the ‘artificial intelligence. In the second phase of the work, graduate and postgraduate studies in Punjabi literature would be offered to more and more people in the region through the app.
